Wendy has since gone on to perform alongside Akira Jimbo (Casiopea), James LoMenzo (Megadeth), Mel Gayner (Simple Minds), Shaggy, Emma Shapplin and and Riki Hendrix. Other notable performances include MTV Asia Awards 2002, ESPNStar Sports X-Games Asia 2006, Baybeats Music Festival 2004, Mediacorp TV programs Suria “Anugerah Band” 2008 (Feature Band) and Vasantham “Nenjukulle (Season 3)” 2017, Singapore Wine & Jazz Festival 2010, Mosaic Music Festival 2006 and more.

In 2008, Wendy released a self-produced solo bass EP Between Here And Then which received glowing reviews by Musikuz (Czech) and Bass Frontiers Magazine (US), and garnered airplay on Mediacorp radio networks Lush 99.5FM, Rediffusion Singapore, and News Radio 93.8FM. The wider attention to her music led to a Yamaha endorsement in 2015, and appearances at Yamaha roadshows, bass clinics and judging duties at the nation-wide Asia Beat music competitions. She was also the bassist in Ootini! (progressive folk fusion), Lily of the Valley (jazz-funk), and Zhen (progressive-rock), and is currently playing in Soulfudo (funk) and Tessera (contemporary jazz).

When not on stage, Wendy is busy in the studio producing music and sound design for 60+ games, educational e-content, mobile hardware, call-on-hold and more. Her music can be heard on Weike Gaming Technology slot machines in casino resorts throughout Southeast Asia including Marina Bay Sands, Resorts World Sentosa, Venetian and Sands Macao, and MGM Grand Ho Tram. She is currently a resident composer at world-class digital mobile games company, Pocket Games Software (PG SOFT). Find out more about her music at  www.asoundstate.com
